My favourite animal is the deer. I like deer the most, because they are very innocent animals. They are herbivorous and are mammals. A baby deer is called a fawn.
They have good hearing and sharp sight. They have big pointed ears and can turn them in any direction. It helps them to see what is happening all around them.
Today, the deer have lost much of their land and are in danger because of humans. The deer are also killed for their skin. It is used to make carpets, handbags and coats. Humans have to stop harming animals such as deer. They are also a wonderful creation of Mother Nature.
