My favourite bird is the parrot. It is generally green in colour, but some parrots are multi-coloured. Parrots have wings and feathers to fly. They always live together. 
Parrots eat fruits, grains, crops and vegetables. Some parrots can speak well like humans and some parrots have red circles around the neck. These parrots are called Mala Girawa. Parrots have small curved red beaks.
They live in holes in trees. Parrots lay eggs and hatch chicks. Children like to keep parrots as pets in their homes. Parrots are very entertaining. They can be seen in natural forests, gardens and many more places.
I like parrots very much.
