The Amuthu school magazine was launched on January 7, 2023 at the beautiful village, Meemure. It was a successful event.
This village is at the foot of the Lakegala mountain, which is believed to be King Ravana’s kingdom.
It was launched at the Meemure Kanishta Vidyalaya with twenty-one students. This school has classes up to Grade 5.
At the launch, many games were played which were very good for the children to improve their standard of English. All the children who participated in the games were given gift packs. And they got a chance to sing songs and dance.
There was also a Muppet show. Two students sang a beautiful song. A small video clip was made and some sports equipment was presented to the school and some books to the school library. The children enjoyed the special event.
