‘CYBER AKSHARAYA’

‘CYBER Aksharaya is a project visually connecting people to communicate globally with live streaming technology.

It is designed to feed your curiosity and tap into your creative spirit with technology. It is about a cyber generation that’s focused on the future and wants to make a difference through the technology of CYBER Aksharaya.

The OKI International School, Kiribathgoda branch celebrated the Language Day 2022 on September 30 at the Elphinstone Theatre, Maradana. 

The event was given a touch of glamour by the Chief Guest, actor Sanath Gunathilake, Chairperson, Mrs. Nirmalee Saparamadu, Branch Directress, Mrs. Dulari Perera, Chief Administrative Officer, Retired Major General Athula Galagamage, Head of Examinations, Anthony Alwis, Head of Sports, Lieutenant Colonel Manjula Perera, Principal of OKI Kiribathgoda, Mrs. Kumari Ranasinghe, Principal of Wattala Primary School, Mrs. Nishanthi Ratnayake, Principal of OKI Kaduwela, Richmond Suraweera and the Head Mistress of OKI Kiribathgoda, Mrs. Madushika De Alwis.

It commenced by observing a one-minute silence for the late founder Nimal Saparamadu and the late Directress Mrs. Nimani Saparamadu Ranasinghe followed by the school anthem. Another significant event was the hand scanner which was introduced for the first time in Sri Lanka as an alternative for the lighting of the oil lamp to inaugurate the event.

Students were awarded for the best performance from the Primary to the Upper section.
