My home is my paradise

4 September, 2022

There’s no place like my home. It is the place where I can feel at peace, be the way I am, where I find myself feeling safe and loved.

My home is a secure place to live in and it is the most comfortable place to be. It is the place where I can do whatever I want to and have the freedom to make things the way I want them to be. Home is my paradise, it is the starting place of love, hope and dreams.

My house might be small but I love the way it is because what makes a home is not its structure and classiness but a complete family.

I live in an ancestral home. The exterior of my home is all brick and we have a beautiful garden landscaped with flowers and trees. It has two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. My house is more than 90 years old. The interior of my house is a mix of the architecture of modern and antique buildings. It has a more vintage look. There are many animals around my house and when I see them I feel relaxed. My house smells like citrus fruits and it is very comforting. Nothing can ever replace the feeling I get from my home because I spend much of my time at home. Nothing can replace the feeling of warmth and love I get from home. All the different emotions, joy and fun I experience at home creates a cloud of calmness.

The reason I love being at home is because it helps me to feel at peace with myself. Living at home is not only a pleasure but also a privilege.

Home is the place where magic happens, the magic that creates a vibrant and happy life. Having a safe and secure home is a blessing and I’m blessed to have a home because home is not made of bricks but it’s made by the people and their feelings.

In my opinion no place in the world is safer than home. Home is not just a house, it’s a place and I love my home the way it is. Home is my favourite place to be.

‘Home sweet home’.
