Aaron George launches Detective Puppy

Aaron George at seven years has published his first book Detective Puppy, a uniue feat for a seven year old. Asked as to how he sets about writing Aaron said “I just imagine and write”. The catalyst for writing Detective Puppy was his great love for the K9 breed and his amzing imagination, the realm of which knows no bounds.

This budding author can weave together imaginary events and reality in an adventurous and fascinating way. Aaron’s very first book is a good example of this.

The story revolves around a puppy who lives alone but helps the police and people with their detective work. In Detective Puppy the puppy that is known as Mr. Detective helps in the recovery of a ruby necklace stolen from a museum.

Aaron is typically a twenty first century youngster who bubbles with the joy of life. He is a Grade 3 student of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo and his favourite subjects are Mathematics , Science and English. Apart from his academic work he is a keen swimmer and a chess player. Aaron says he loves the mental stimulation that chess gives him.

Travelling around Sri Lanka is another passion of Aaron’s as are model cars. Sigiriya and Nuwara Eliya are two of his favourite places in the island.

Aaron is a a member of the college’s Western Music Band and plays the melodica. He is also aspiring to be a side drum player.

Father Pradeep and mother Chamila guide and support Aaron at all times says a big thank you to each and everyone who has helped him.
