It is a lovely sunny day. There is Xander, the postman. He is 18 years old. He had no family, or he doesn’t remember ever having one. He is a hardworking man. He now works as a postman. He loves his job, and by doing his job, he now lives happily in a house in the town. He would start his job early in the morning and diligently carries all the letters to their owners before 3 o’clock in the afetrnoon.
He helped everyone in anyway he could. He helped older people to carry their heavy items and helped them to cross the road.
People loved him very much; they would go to his house and served him some tea and food when he delivered a letter to them. He liked to eat the cupcakes made in the best sweet shop in the town and he would take some of them to the children when he went to deliver letters. People would also help him in anyway they could. Things were going very well. Xander was 25 years old. One day, while delivering mail he met with an accident. He was taken to a hospital.
When people heard about it, they were shocked and went immediately to see him in the hospital. They even paid for Xander’s treatment But it was all in vain. He died because he was seriously injured. All the people in the town including children, attended his funeral. They made a statue of Xander in the centre of the town out of respect for him. And every year, when it was Xander’s death anniversary the people placed flowers at his statue.
