Our solar system

16 July, 2022

Our solar system is elliptical. This means that it is shaped like an egg. The sun is in the centre of the Solar System. There are eight planets in the Solar System. They are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The biggest planet is Neptune. The sun is our closest star in the Solar System.

A comet is a tiny ball of dust and snow in space. The Earth is the only planet which sustains life. The smallest planet is Mercury and the coolest planets are Uranus and Neptune. Saturn is the planet with a ring.
