One night, it was raining heavily. I was doing my homework in my living room. While doing my homework I fell asleep. On that night, there was a power cut in our area due to the heavy rain. 
Suddenly, I heard someone tapping on the door. I opened my eyes and my heart started beating faster. Because I did not expect a power cut my house was dark. I can only see a shadow near the window with a torch. I screamed and my mom came running with a torch to see who it was. Oh my gosh! It was my dad returning home from work.
My dad laughed at me and said, I should be brave and strong and look after my family until he returns home from work.
My dad’s words made me strong.
