Passion fruit and key lime pie

Ingredients
1 small can milkmaid
3 egg yolks
150g butter, melted
3 Marie biscuits packets
3 tbsp sugar
finely grated zest and juice of 3 limes
fresh juice of 2 passion fruits
1 tsp vanilla essence
 

 

Method

Preheat your oven at 190 degree celsius and line a circular baking tray using parchment paper.

1.Crush the biscuits using a food processor. Or you can put the biscuits into a zip log bag and crush them using a rolling pin.

2.Add the sugar and melted butter to the crushed biscuits.

3.Put the mixture into the baking tray and level it. 4.Bake it for 10-15 minutes at 190 degree celsius or until golden brown.

5.Next in a large, clean mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks until pale yellow and fluffy.

6.Add in the milkmaid and beat until combined.

7.Add the finely grated lime zest and juice, the passion fruit juice and the vanilla essence as well. 8.Pour it on to the baked crust and bake for about 25 minutes at 200 degree celsius. 9.Once it is baked put it into the refrigerator for about one and a half hours.
