Covid-19 and Education

13 March, 2022

No one could have predicted that Covid-19 would turn our life upside down and drastically alter our way of life. People across the world accepted countless changes as a result of the virus spreading like a wild forest fire and it took some time for everyone to adjust to the ‘new normal’ lifestyle.

Online learning is quickly becoming one of the most efficient methods of imparting knowledge.

The virus had such a influence that online education became a common aspect of our modern world, resulting in the closure of schools and preventing physical interaction between teachers and students. As a result, most schools and educational institutions switched to an online platform to resume their studies.

During the lockdown, online education and technology have proved to be superheroes. Students had been unable to maintain contact with the outside world as a result of the lockdown. And the lack of exposure was clear.

Switching to online classes was the sole remedy for the students’ mental health. Teachers’ made sure that students’ learning was not geopardised and therefore, went over and above an the call of duty to identify remedies and develop new learning environments for their students.
