The Arabian Nights is a book that was first written by Tahir Shah in Persia in the eighth century. The version we read now was translated to English by Andrew Lang.
There are many stories in this book such as The story of the Merchant and the genius, The story of the first old man of the Hind,The story of the fisherman, The seven voyages of Sinbad, The Story of Sidi –Norman,• The enchanted horse and Alladin and the magic lamp.
Alladin is the most famous book out of them and many people have re-written this book in simpler versions. There is also a cartoon movie and a real life movie of Alladin and the magic lamp. I like reading The Arabian Nights and I am currently reading it.
