Dear children,
Child labour is another bad thing that is indulged by many in our society. And surprisingly many people who do this are parents themselves. This is a very distressing fact.
One of the main reasons children are forced in to child labour is poverty. Unfortunately, poverty disrupts their innocent lives.
As children, you can help prevent child labour by speaking to and discouraging people from employing underage children. If you know any children who for instance are domestic aides be extra kind to them and ask an adult to help them out of their sad situation.
Some children are really abusive to child workers, especially domestic help. They will pinch, hit and carry false tales about them. This is really unkind.
The sad fact is that even with extremely strict laws child labour continues even today.Very often, there are stories of underage children being harmed while working as domestic aides, shop assistants and at other adult jobs.
It is within our power to help eradicate child labour. So, let’s do it!
