Our environment is really unique because it sustains life. On other planets there is no life sustaining environment and therefore, no life.
The environment means all that surrounds us. It is a very complex phenomenon. It consists of climate, geography, geology, and all the natural resources that nature has bestowed upon us. Life is there because of our unique biosphere and ecosystem. There is life on this planet because of a certain balance between these various elements.
The addition of undesirable or unclean elements to the environment causes an imbalance and leads to pollution. This imbalance has not only led to deterioration in the quality of our lives but has also threatened the very survival of all life.
If this imbalance grows beyond a certain limit it may prove fatal. The ever and rapidly increasing pollution is a matter of global concern, because it is not confined to a particular country or land. This pollution is a threat to the whole world and must be fought unitedly. Let’s participate in the movement to stop environment pollution.
