My favourite person is C.W.W. Kannangara. He is the father of free education in Sri Lanka. His full name is Christopher William Wijekoone Kannangara.
He was the son of Johan Daniel Kannangara and Emily Wijesinha. His village was Balapitiya in Southern Sri Lanka. In the 1933 election he won a seat from the Galle district. He is a good person. He passed away on September 23,1969.
