NASA’s Perseverance Rover’s HD view of landing site

On July 30 last year (2020), NASA launched a car-sized Mars rover designed to explore the crater Jezero on Mars.This car-sized Rover was named Perseverance (nicknamed Percy) and was launched as a part of NASA’s Mars 2020 mission. The Perseverance rover got its first high-definition look around its new home in the ezero Crater on the February 21, after rotating its mast, or ‘head’, 360 degrees, allowing the Rover to capture its first panorama after touching down on the Red Planet on February 18. Its primary mission is to search for signs of ancient microbial life on Mars.
