Maha Shivarathri is the Hindu holiday that gives Hindus an opportunity to pay homage to Lord Shiva. This year’s Maha Shivarathri wii be celebrated on Thursday, March 11. This holiday is closely related to the story of the Samudra Manthan and other events from Hindu texts.
