The Principal, Sugath Bandara of St. Anthony’s College, Mahawatta, Colombo and the Principal of the Primary Section of the school, Dr. Aruna Dhammika Karunarathna organised an event to cheer up the children who restart ed school this year. The aim of this novel concept was to help students to adapt and adjust to the physical mode of education after spending months on virtual education. The activities at the event not only entertained but also strengthened the bond and communication between the students and the teachers.
The Additional Provincial Director of Education, Western Province, Wimal Guanaratna, the Zonal Education Director of Colombo, G. N. Silva and many others attended the event.
