My village is Mathugama. It is a big Village in the Kalutara district. There are nearly five hundred families in my village. Many of the villagers are farmers. They grow paddy, fruits and vegetables. They take their products to the village fair. There is a big paddy field in my village. There is a village hospital, a shop, a bank and a sub post office and a historical temple in my village and several government servants live here. Many of them are teachers and nurses. My village has a rubber plantation. I love my village very much.
