
Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 to a poor family. At the age of nine years he lost his mother. His formal schooling was not more than one year. He did many odd jobs to feed his family.
But Lincoln loved to read and was largely self-educated. Later, he became a respected lawyer. He was a great communicator. Finally, Abraham Lincoln became the 16th President of the United States of America and one of the most respected leaders in the USA. During his time he secured the Liberty of the slaves.He married on November fourth 1842 and had four children. They were all boys.
He was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth on April 15, 1865. Abraham Lincoln is a great leader and a role model for all of us.
