York International School, Kadawatha celebrated World Children's Day, Teachers’ Day and Elders’ Day at the school auditorium recently. Chairman, York Network and York Graduate Campus, Rohan Perera, Director Roshane Perera and CEO Rohan L. Perera and Principal Mrs. Wathsala Senanayake were present. Students from playgroup to O/L sang songs, performed dramas and dances to celebrate the event.
Teachers presented group songs and dramas to highlight the beauty of childhood and to show their love and care towards the children.
Prefects presented souvenirs to teachers and the teachers presented gifts to all students. The school management gave gifts to students and the staff to mark the day. Children were encouraged to pay tribute to the elders by presenting gifts with the management to the auxiliary staff of the school. School administrators, teachers and prefects organised the event.
