My school is Hill Country International. It is one of the best Schools in the Kandy district.
Our principal is A.A.M. Jazil, Vice principals are Mrs. Affan and Mrs. Haniffa. The primary school headmistress is of great support to the school. This year we celebrated the School’s 16th anniversary. Our school is divided into two sections - primary section and the secondary section. There are two separate buildings for boys and girls. The three school houses are Emerald, Topaz and Sapphire. There are about 2,000 students in my school. Hill Country International School is a model school with a distinct character of its own providing education for boys and girls of all ethnic groups.
Our school motto is 'Nurturing Leaders', the mission is 'Providing the best value-based world-class education and training' and the Vision is “Nurturing value-based role model leaders for humanity”.
I am happy to study in a school with many extra curricular activities. Our school is famous for badminton. Hill countrians are blessed to have a school with lots of educational facilities, love and care given by teachers to make us independent in society when we grow up. I am pleased to be one of the children learning at Hill Country International School and I wish that our harvest may be stored for the coming years and that it will display our best work.
