The foundation stone was laid for the Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) at Hulannuge, Lahugala DS division, Ampara funded by the World Bank at the request of the Women and Child Affairs Ministry recently. The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Ampara District Secretary D.M.L. Bandaranayake, organised by Early Childhood Development (ECD) Ampara District Co-ordinator Suranchiny. Lahugala Divisional Secretary Sandaruwan Anuruddha, high-ranking officials, parents and students were present.
