Our school trip

26 January, 2020

We went on an educational trip to Kandy from school last year. All students came to school at 3 o'clock. We started our journey at 3.30 a.m. We took our breakfast in the bus. First we went to Saradiyel Gammanaya at 8.30 a.m. There we saw statues of Saradiyel's life story. A man described Saradiel's life story. Second we went to Bahirava Kanda. It is a temple situated on a mountain. We saw Buddha statues and offered flowers. We returned at about 12.30 p.m.

Then we went to the Dalada Maligawa. We offered flowers and went round the temple returning around 3.00 p.m. From there we went to the Peradeniya Botanical gardens. We had lunch. We saw beautiful flowers and various trees. We left the garden at 6 o'clock. On our way back we sang songs and danced in the bus. We came to school around 1.30 p.m. All of us enjoyed the trip well.
