Climate Change

26 January, 2020

Hello friends, today I’m going to talk about climate change. When a particular condition of weather prevails over a long period of time it is called climate. Climate, whether hot or cold or snowy, usually occurs regularly during a particular period or month every year. When this does not take place regularly, it is called climate change.

Why is it happening?

Climate change happens because of the excessive accumulation of carbon dioxide and chloride compounds in the atmosphere. This is due to exhaust fumes coming from motor vehicles refridgerators, air conditioners, burning of wood materials, chemicals and plastics, burning forests and cutting down trees. All these result in holes forming in the protective ozone layer.

What will happen?

When the excessive rays of the sun reach the earth, temperature rises above usual. Hence plants and lakes dry up. Ice caps in the polar mountains melt. The sea waters rise, sometimes submerging small islands.

What are the solutions?

Essentially we must take steps to reduce the damage being done to the ozone layer. For this we must grow more trees, reduce the cutting down of trees and the emission of carbon chloride compounds by inventing machines that do not produce harmful carbon chloride compounds. By these activities let as all lead a happy and healthy life.
