HopeScope Foundation, a charitable endeavour solely focused on providing community assistance with special attention on children and education, conducted a stationery distribution program covering 31 under-privileged schools in the Trincomalee, Hambantota and Colombo districts.
This was the third consecutive year of this program. Chairman of the HopeScope Foundation, Saminda Perera and the team distributed stationery to 3,000 children from those schools.
Funds collected by the generous contributions of well-wishers were used for purchasing exercise books, drawing books, coloured pencils, chalk, rulers, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, instrument boxes, pencil cases, water bottles, school bags, and shoes.
