The Islamic Society of Lindsay Girls' School, Colombo 3 held its Annual 'Peace 19' Islamic Day celebration under the partronage of Principal D.J. Lamahewa. The Chief Guest was Senior Lecturer, University of Colombo Dr. Fareena Ruzaik and the Guest Speaker was Mowlavi M.F.M. Farood, Teacher-in-charge Zulaiha Nawzil, Deputy Principal Royna Bahaman were present. Winners of the competitions in speech, drama, singing and Arabic writing received awards and certificates.
