Harry’s enemies try to cause problems for him by accusing him of using underage magic which could get him expelled from Hogwarts School, but Professor Dumbledore comes to his rescue and Harry is not expelled. Harry has to stay locked up inside his room at the Durseley’s in order to avoid being attacked by Voldemort and his death eaters.

Professor Dumbledore assembles a group called the Order of the Phoenix to defeat Voldemort and his death eaters, and Harry assembles a group of students called Dumbledore’s army to defeat Voldemort and his followers.

Voldemort desperately tries to possess Harry’s soul but Harry repels him and saves his soul. Dumbledore tells Harry about the prophecy made about him and Voldemort and that Harry is the chosen one to defeat Voldemort. Dumbledore did not reveal this information to Harry in the past because he thought that Harry was too young but he feels that Harry is old enough now to cope with the news. Harry finds himself in many dangerous situations again but his courage enables him to overcome his enemies.
