Nilmini wins Most Brilliant Performer award at 14th Osaka Asian Film Festival

Nilmini Sigera the lead actress of the film Asadndhimitta has won the Yakushi Pearl Award for the ‘Most Brilliant Performer’ at the 14th Osaka Asian Film Festival concluded on March 17 in Osaka, Japan. Asandhimitta was programmed under the main competition of OAFF, with movies from Korea, Hong-Kong, China, India, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and Taiwan. The role in Asandhimitta was Nilmini’s first appearance in big screen.

Asandhimitta, the film directed by Asoka Handagama and produced by H D Premasiri for Sarasavi Cineru, has been lined up for limited engagement with limited shows in cinemas island-wide from March 22, 2019.
