The Annual Inter-House Sports Meet of the Primary section of Zahira College Colombo was held at the College Grounds recently.
It was held under the patronage of Principal Trizviy Marikkar with Olympic Silver Medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe as Chief Guest.
Cordova House became Champions this year scoring 189 points and its House Captain Abdul Khaliq received the T.B. Jayah Challenge Shield from the chief guest. Angroa House was placed second with 152 points.
Baghdad House came third with 126 points and Istanbul House was the fourth with 88 points.
Chairman of the Board of Governors Fouzul Hameed, Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Prefect of Games and Meet Secretary Muhiseen Ariff, Sports Sub Committee Chairman M.S.M. Faiz, Old Boys Association President M.U.M. Azmi, members of the BOG, Teachers, old boys and parents were also present. Head Prefect Shalaby Isa proposed the vote of thanks.
