I recently read The Secret of Moon Castle by Enid Blyton which is a book in The Secret Series. It was first published in London by Basil Blackwill in 1953.
The story begins with the children Peggy, Nora, Mike, Jack and Paul going home for the summer vacation. Paul’s parents who are King and Queen of the fictional country named Baronia are expected to join the children during the vacation, and they want to find a castle that can be rented for the King and Queen to stay in.
They find the Moon Castle quite interesting and go to see it before the King and Queen of Baronia rent it. They talk to the caretakers about the castle and decide to rent it. But the children soon discover that there is a mystery in the castle. Can the five friends solve the castle’s spooky mysteries?
