The French Spring Festival will organise a Pre-Festival at the Residence of France between June 7 and June 14, 11 am to 6 pm, where photography and sculpture will be showcased through the work of Marie-Caroline SENLIS.
Photographic and sculptural work of Marie-Caroline SENLIS: A gallery of portraits, that include misty landscapes, series of coloured blossoming trees, portraits of trees, mystic, seas, Nature and Soul, clouds, Versailles Onirique, Sri Lanka and others... Through these collections, such as Bloom, Walls or Lankan Residence, among which some will be new, Marie-Caroline SENLIS explores diverse topics and disciplines.
Marie-Caroline SENLIS is a French photographer, living in Colombo. She has been living in Asia for more than 20 years, and has been profoundly inspired by her different experiences in China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Sri Lanka. After studies in Chinese, Literature and Linguistics, Marie-Caroline SENLIS focused on Art and Fine Art studies, Photography, Sculpture and Drawing. Whatever the subject, poetry, dreams and surrealism are always present.
She has exhibited her work in France and Asia, and in the past three years in Sri Lanka.
