With a curved red beak,
Why aren't you crying out,
'Polly pretty Polly'?
What must Nancy give you today, Polly?
Guava ripe or chillies green,
Monkey nuts, or boiled beans?
But now cry out: ‘Polly pretty Polly'.
On your little swing,
Why aren't you swinging today,
My Polly, sweet Polly?
