Martin Wickremasinghe is a famous writer who was born in Koggala in the south of Sri Lanka. His father was Don Bastian Wickramasinghe and his mother was Magalle Balapitiya Liyanage. Martin Wickremasinghe wrote the children’s novel Madol Duwa, many novels such as Gamperaliya, Kaliyugaya and Yuganthaya.
