My country is Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful island in the Indian Ocean. It’s called the ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’. The capital of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayawardanepura, Kotte. The longest river is Mahaweli, the highest mountain Piduruthalagala and the highest waterfall is Bambarakanda. Tea, coconut and rubber are the three main crops. Sri Lanka has a population of more than eighteen million. There are many interesting places such as forests, parks, mountains, rivers and waterfalls. I love my country very much.
