Earth is called the blue planet because three quarters of its surface is covered by water. Although we have 75% water on Earth, only 1% is suitable for consumption. The main reason for this is water pollution. We must educate the younger generation about water management. March 22 has been declared as World Water Day to raise awareness among people about the importance of protecting water resources. “Wastewater” was the theme for the 2017 World Water Day. Let’s take measures to safeguard water for our future generations.
