My favourite musician and composer is Ananda Samarakoon. He was born on 13th January 1911. He was also a musician and a composer. He composed the National Anthem of Sri Lanka. He is considered as one of the best musicians in Sri Lanka. He wrote many songs during his life time. He was also a gifted painter. He had very good qualities like kindness. That is the reason why I like him. Ananda Samarakoon passed away on 5th April 1962. Although he has passed away, he is an unforgettable person to me.
