My village is Weweltalawa. It is in the Kegalle district. It is a beautiful village, surrounded by tea estates. It looks like a green carpet spread on the mountains.
There are about fifty families in my village. There is a primary school, tea factory, day care centre and a temple in my village. The ITN tower is situated in my village as it is on top of a high mountain. Many people from other parts of the country visit my village during their holidays.
