The Enchanted Wood is written by the famous author Enid Blyton. She is my favourite author. This is the best book I have read so far. This book is about three children named Joe, Beth and Frannie who discover a magical new world with Moonface, Saucepan-Man and Silky the fairy.
They enjoy their adventures in the lands that reach the top branch of the magical Faraway tree. The Land of Birthdays, the Rocking Land, the Land of Take-What-You-Want, and the Land of Toys are some of the places. In some lands they get into trouble, but they manage to get out of them too.
Also, they enjoy sliding down the slippery slip that starts from Moonface’s house and ends at the bottom of the Faraway tree.
This book helps children to imagine good things. Every time I read this book, I feel as if I’m also a character in the book. And that is why I like this book very much.
