Among the books I have read, The Chamber of Secrets in the Harry Potter series stole my heart. This book is popular worldwide and it is loved by many Harry Potter fans. It is written by J.K. Rowling and was first published by Bloomsbury in 1998. The story takes the reader to a world full of mystery, adventure, magic and much more. The main character is Harry Potter who is a skinny little boy who is now an orphan.
His best friends are Ron and Hermione. Harry thinks he is weak and not of much use until he realizes that he is a wizard with a scar of lightening on his forehead. Because he is treated badly by his own uncle and aunt, his friends take him away and he starts his second year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This book enthralls the reader and takes him to a fascinating world full of surprises that you can’t stop reading until you finish the book. And that is why I like it very much.
