Kites

Kites are flying objects attached to a rope. A kite has a bamboo frame and is covered with paper or light fabric. They come in colourful designs. There are different shapes like bats, fish, frogs and snakes. There are kite flying competitions in many countries. In Sri Lanka there is a kite festival every August. I like to fly kites during the holidays.
