The pirate cats are coming to town! This book, which has been named as The Golden Statue Plot, is one of my favourite books. This book was written by the children’s author Elisabetta Dami and published by Scholastic. This was first printed in October 2013. The main characters in this book are Geronimo Stilton, Thea, Trap and Benjamin Stilton. The other most important characters are Oscar Wildwhiskers, Catardone III, Tersilla, Kitty and Scout. This story is about the cats with the leadership of Catardone, their ruler, coming to steal Mousy Liberty. And also about how the mice [Geronimo and his family] saved the statue of liberty. This book describes a huge power failure in Cat Island and the huge amount of gold the cats had to pay for electricity. It’s a very interesting book anyone would love to read.
