My school is Pushpadana College and it celebrated 75 years on the 2nd of July 2017. It was started on the 2nd of July 1942. The first Principal was Mrs. S.A. Wijethilake. At the beginning, there were only 12 children and six teachers. There were only one or two buildings. The present Principal is Mrs. E.W.L.K. Egodawela. There are now about 2000 students and 115 teachers in my school. It is located in a beautiful environment.
We have organized many events this year to celebrate the 75th anniversary. We have organized a Walk, an exhibition and a prize giving. We had a Pahan Pujawa in our school. We also had the annual school fair. I love my school very much.
