My favourite cricketer is Kumar Sangakkara. He is a legend in Sri Lankan cricket who has been honoured as one of the world’s best cricketers. He is not only a master batsman but is also a good wicket keeper. He was born in Matale and grew up in Kandy.
Kumar Sangakkara has played cricket at school level as well as national level. Sanga is married to Yeheli. He is a gentleman cricketer. He is also a good speaker, and has made several memorable speeches at world conferences of cricket. He retired from cricket recently.
