My school is Mahamaya Girls’ College. It is in Kandy. It’s one of the best Buddhist girls’ schools in Sri Lanka. My Principal is Mrs. I. Vithanachchi. She is a kind hearted lady. We have many facilities in our school such as a big library, a swimming pool, a hostel, a canteen, a fruit stall, an auditorium, big classrooms and science laboratories. There are about 4200 students and 250 teachers.
Our school uniform is a white frock without a collar, with short sleeves and a blue buckle in the middle of the belt. We must wear white shoes and if we have long hair we must wear it in two plaits tied with white ribbons. I love my school very much.
