How to protect ourselves from germs

28 May, 2017

Germs are tiny creatures. We cannot see them with our naked eyes. They grow in dirt. They are very dangerous. We should use a microscope to see them. Germs do not walk, fly, run or crawl. They spread through moisture, body waste, dust, animals, insects and people. Some germs are killed by a defence system called antibodies. There are diseases caused by germs. Some of them are diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, rabies and asthma.

To prevent getting sick from these germs we must wash vegetables and fruits before we eat them. We must wash our hands before eating. Do not bite your nails. Do exercises daily. Wash spoons, dishes, cooking utensils with hot water. Dry your blankets, mattresses and clothes in the sunlight. If you fall ill, it is good to meet your family doctor.
