My favourite book is the The Throne of Fire. It is written by Rick Riordan. It is the second book in the Kane Chronicles series. The main characters are Carter Kane, Sadie Kane, Ra and the villain Apophis. It was first published in the year 2011 by Disney Hyperion.
This book is about Egyptian gods in the modern world. The author creates a clear view of the whole story in the reader’s mind and also grabs the reader’s attention to read more. Carter and Sadie are two wizards. Ra is the Sun god, and Apophis is the serpent of chaos. The story is about an adventure to find the three scrolls and stop Apophis before he swallows the Sun and plunges the Earth into darkness forever.
