I have already read many types of books in my life. But the book which downcast me and touched me the most was The Diary of Anne Frank. The original title of this book was Het Achterhuis and it was originally written in Dutch.
This is actually a diary written by a girl known as Anne Frank while she was hiding for two years with her family during the Nazi occupation of Netherlands, and also after they were taken to the Bergen - Belsen concentration camp. This diary centres on the experiences of Anne who is a Jewish girl. This book contains every important incident that Anne had come across from her 13th birthday until her death. This young girl died because of typhus at the age of 15, unfortunately at the concentration camp. Later according to Anne's wishes this diary was published by her father. Today this diary is a world famous creation and has been published in more than 60 languages. So in my opinion this book is an excellent creation suitable for both children and adults.
