The Parakrama Samudraya, the Gal Viharaya, Sigiriya, Ruwanweliseya. What are they? They are our own cultural heritage sights. From the last centuries, until the present, these marvelous creations were the ones which make Sri Lankans proud of our ancestors and country. They have been erected for the use of kings, queens, heirs and also to depict our proud history to the world. We must protect our heritage for the future.
