
A healthy diet is important for us as it helps to maintain our health and body weight. We must do two things to have a healthy life. Firstly, we should take nutritional foods like milk, milk products, eggs, dark green, leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Secondly, we have to do physical exercise regularly. Food which we eat must have vital nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and fats. Proteins help with the growth and repair of body tissues, carbohydrates give us energy and strength. Minerals help to keep the body in good health. We also need vitamins for strong teeth and bones.
We must take care to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The main meal of the day is breakfast. Growing children and teenagers should not skip breakfast because it develops the brain, and improves the mental and physical performance of our day-to-day activities.
We must also exercise by walking, cycling, swimming, jogging and playing indoor games. Gardening is also a form of exercise that could also be a hobby which brings happiness. Therefore, we should always have a healthy diet and do regular exercise.
